Absence of thought

A collection of experimental mix media illustrations

“Absence of Thought” is a sculptural project that examines the dystopian effects of social media and technology on mental and physical well-being. Through motifs such as floating heads with vacant gazes, faces confined within shopping baskets, and embedded Rorschach patterns, the work materialises digital anxieties into tangible, emotionally resonant forms.

Integrating hand-drawn illustration with 3D fabrication processes, including laser engraving and cutting, the collection bridges digital and physical realms. It invites viewers to critically reflect on their relationship with technology in an increasingly disconnected age.
